In memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, NY, who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005.
This workout was one of Mike’s favorites and he’d named it ‘Body Armor.’ From here on it will be referred to as ‘Murph’ in honor of the focused warrior and great American who wanted nothing more in life than to serve this great country and the beautiful people who make it what it is.

This is one rep:
1. Power Clean
2. Front Squat
3. Push-Press
4. Back Squat
5. Push-Press
Do 5 rounds total working up to your max. Record starting weight and ending weight.
This is not for time but and each round you should increase weight.
Each time you drop bar before round is over there is a 5 burpee penalty. Each rep is touch and go on power clean.
No split jerks and must come to full extension and pause before push presses.
You can rest in between rounds as long as you want.
